Our Story

Hi, I'm Kristina — and making things by hand is in my blood.

Some of my earliest memories are sitting with my mom and aunt, learning to create with my hands. I was just a little kid, but I was hooked (literally). That love of handcraft never left me — it grew, evolved, and eventually became something I could share with the world.

Farm District Crafts was born out of something real: a desire to do meaningful work while being present for my family. When my kids were little, I needed a way to help support our household without sacrificing the time that mattered most. So I turned to what I've always known — making beautiful, useful things by hand.

More than crochet.

While crochet is close to my heart, Farm District Crafts is really about handcraft in its fullest sense. Every piece I make carries decades of learned skill, passed down through the women in my family and refined through years of practice and love.

Every piece has a story.
